welcome Welcome to LaRoadmap, an evolving product over many years that aspires to revolutionise how local government works in England and Wales.

We hope that you enjoy your experience with us and re-visit many times whether anonymously or as a login user. You are always most welcome.

anonymous user council settings
  • Initially, the settings for the Local Highway Authority (LHA) and local parish/community council are stored in a cookie for quick and convenient retrieval to the Anonymous User Home Page main menu.
  • The Anonymous User should also store these settings within the Security Vault by entry of a unique ID code. The advantages include easy placement of these settings on different devices e.g. phone, tablet etc. or the quick restoration of same if the cookie is for some reason lost.
  • Moreover, to safeguard user anonymity, any 1-2-1 Issue created by the Anonymous User is also associated with a separate cookie on the user's machine.
  • In the event that these cookies are deleted - for instance if someone externally clears their browser's cookie history - the LHA and local council menu items are removed from the menu header, along with the display of any ongoing 1-2-1 Issues, requiring restoration - see Anonymous User Security Vault below.
anonymous user security vault
  • It is strongly recommended to store previously set LHA and local council values in the Security Vault using a unique ID identification password code. The 1-2-1 Issue cookie value is automatically stored. Failure to take this precaution will require the Anonymous User to manually reset the LHA and local council settings, whilst the loss of the 1-2-1 Issus cookie will irreversibly cause the display of the Anonymous User 1-2-1 issues on the Anonymous User Page to be permanently lost.
  • Good practice requires only a save followed by selection of the 'Restore Vault Settings' button and re-entry of the unique ID password code previously set by the anonymous user. Furthermore, this approach also facilitates easy transfer of these settings to different machines.
  • Remember to save the unique ID password code in a safe place for future use.
set-up local council account
  • The Parish/Community Clerk is tasked with the creation of a Local Council account, allowing for the Council Chairman to adopt this role where the Clerk does not exist.
  • Account setup involves validation of the Clerk, selection of the number of council member login accounts required, the pricing arrangement and the creation of the Clerk login account
  • Request a member of the Street Technics team at sales@laroadmap.com for assistance in the creation of a local council account.
